ABOUT

and shit like that

Orlando based artist Matthew Ramsey makes emotional songs from the comfort of his bedroom and the safe space of his head under the pseudonym Two in a Car Crash.

His debut single “Bedbugs” saw him delve head-first into almost lo-fidelity folk recordings, which he expanded upon with his debut EP, “Westport.” He later then announced that the release was a part of a three-EP series titled “Isn’t Everything Amazing?” which includes Westport; Honey, Honey (which released on June 25th with the support of the single “Maeby,” which saw him yet again delving into piano-esque balladry and jazz exercises;) and Everything Is Going To Stay For a While, which releases on the 30th of July, with the support of the single “Nothing Goes the Way You Want It To."

Later that year, his debut album Astrobleme released on December 10th, with the support of five singles, including the hit "Dairy (feat. THE QUILTS,)" and a promotional EP. It released to critical acclaim, praising the sketchbook of sounds the album showcased and Ramsey's impressive writing techniques.

His EP, "Oh, the Splendor," is out now, and his new EP "Ursa Major" is out 7/15.
